Susannah Koteen

Susannah Koteen is a Partner at Porter One. She is responsible for curating new client experiences and she leads the committee that vets potential clients.

Susannah has been in the hospitality and events business since 1998. Susannah is owner-operator of Lido, a highly acclaimed Italian restaurant, and has recently opened Bixi, an Asian-themed bar and lounge, in Harlem.

She previously worked for Cipriani, managing catering for the iconic Rainbow Room. Before that, Susannah was the Executive Director of James Beard-award winner Serena Bass Catering where she worked on exclusive events throughout New York and the Hamptons. Both roles required handling all details from theme development and entertainment, to staffing, budgeting, venue selection and beyond. She started as an event planner for Michael Lawrence Events, specializing in non-profit galas and Broadway opening night celebrations.

During her career she has worked with such clients as The Hillary Clinton Presidential Campaign, Columbia University Business School, Marc Jacobs, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
